The Go-getters are a dedicated team of volunteers who focus their efforts on fund-raising for Happen, Inc., through grant-writing, researching foundations and corporate donation programs, and coordinating and implementing fund-raising programs.

Food for Thoughtfulness
Food for Thoughtfulness is a Happen fund-raising program that allows you to host a party while generating support for a good cause. Through this program, you volunteer to host a party and invite your guests to make a minimal donation to Happen. We make every attempt to make hosting a Food for Thoughtfulness event as fun and effortless as possible by providing you with all of the materials you need, including invitations, donation forms, and brochures. This includes a DVD that explains the mission of Happen, Inc., as well as the donation process.
But we focus on more than just a fund-raiser. We want people to connect with other people. This might be a good time to see old friends, reflect with coworkers or relatives, or even meet someone new and share your involvement with Happen. Just like any Happen activity, we want this experience to be fun and memorable for everyone.
The fund-raising goal for each party is to raise $100 or more through guest donations. Funds raised from an event will be directed to the everyday operational costs that make the Happen facility a fun and exciting experience for both children and adults.
