We've built a solid foundation here at Happen during our ten years of operations. This year , more than 10,000 children and parents will participate in various Happen activities and special events designed with the intention of using art to inspire creativity and bring families together through art. Like children, inspiration and creativity are not static; they grow at astronomical rates. Happen's outreach programs have branched out beyond our core art and ceramics sessions to include an ever-expanding roster of art sessions through Let's Play with Clay, After-School Art Programs, In-Studio Art Sessions, Community Canvas, Lights, Camera, Learning in Action, Happen's Toy Lab and much more.
 
Our free sessions and outreach programs are in place and the word is spreading, but the heart and soul of this organization always has been, and continues to be, the people behind the scenes. Happen has transitioned from its volunteer program support base to hiring paid staff to truly launch our dream of achieving the next level of impact by reaching thousands of parents and children. A leap of that magnitude doesn't happen without a clear sense of the costs, and rewards to the community provided by people like you.
